Organic jaggery, a natural sweetener derived from sugarcane, provides a deep, caramel-like sweetness without the highly processed nature of refined sugar. Combining these two wholesome ingredients with high-quality cocoa powder creates a decadent, warming drink perfect for cold days or cozy evenings. Ingredients:

2 cups milk or non-dairy milk
1-2 tablespoons Organic Jaggery* (grated)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Organic Digestive Ghee* optional
Organic Vanilla Extract* optional

Instructions:

1. Combine milk, jaggery and cocoa in a saucepan.
2. Stir over medium heat until cocoa and jaggery are dissolved.
3. Remove from heat; add a drop or two of vanilla extract and spoonful of Digestive Ghee if desired, then blend, preferably with a frother. (Our Digestive Ghee is infused with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger that make this hot cocoa absolutely divine)!
