This recipe brings together the rich, buttery flavor of pecans with a harmonious blend of ayurvedic spices that evokes the spirit of the season. Ingredients:

1 pound pecan halves
1/3 cup Organic Grassfed Ghee*
½ cup Ayurvedic Jaggery* (grated) (or packed brown sugar)
1 teaspoon Organic Vanilla Extract*
1 pinch Himalayan Pink Salt*

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. Melt ghee in a large saucepan over medium-low heat.
3. Add jaggery or brown sugar and salt. Stir until jaggery is dissolved.
4. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla then add pecans, stirring to coat completely.
5. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, for 15 to 25 minutes, or until toasted to your preference.
7. Remove from oven; transfer to a large plate to cool completely.
