Braised Brussels Sprouts

Elevate your veggie game with these tender, caramelized braised Brussels sprouts, made irresistible with rich, grass-fed organic ghee, sweet shallots, and a touch of Himalayan pink salt. This simple yet flavorful recipe is the perfect side dish to complement any meal, bursting with wholesome, nourishing ingredients.

Ingredients:

2 TBSP Organic Grassfed Ghee*
1 lb Brussels sprouts
1 shallot(s)
¼ cup broth
Himalayan Pink Salt* to taste
Tellicherry Extra Bold Peppercorns*, black to taste
thyme to taste

Instructions:

1. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half. Peel the shallot and chop into small pieces.
2. Heat a pan over medium-low heat. Add the butter or ghee to melt.
3. Once the butter or ghee is melted, add the Brussels sprouts and shallot and sauté for 5 minutes.
4. Add the broth and salt, pepper and thyme.
5. Cover and braise for 20 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are soft.
